Class Descriptions

Vinyasa ("flow") yoga, in which movement is synchronized to breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes.  In this style, poses run together in a smooth way without halt between movements.  Breath is the most important part of the class, and the teacher will match each movement to an inhale or exhale in order to sync the class together as a group and to create ease in each pose.

We call our style of yoga a moving meditation. Meditation calms and focuses the mind, so that we go from our usual multi-tasking state to awareness of just one thing: the present moment. We are constantly connected in today's modern society. Whether it is a phone, email, work, social media, television, or even a radio, we're plugged into something. Our classes give you chance to regroup, and give the mind a chance to step back, unplug, and take in just one thing at a time. It's a moment, or an hour, to be mentally still.

All Levels Power Vinyasa

For the first time to the experienced yogi, you will find a challenge here.  This class will lead you through a series of postures and breathing techniques that will help you move, sweat, and feel transformed! This class will lead you through a series of postures and breathing techniques that will not only strengthen you, but build both flexibility and endurance while helping to focus and calm the mind.

The room is heated to a steamy 93-95 degrees. This class may include hands-on assisting. 

All of our classes are open to every BODY regardless of experience, ability, or frequency of practice.  We love beginners!

Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga

Build a solid foundation for your alignment & learn to move with breath. Mindfully & slowly transition through a vinyasa-style flow class & end in a restorative pose.  Great for all levels.

Lightly heated to 75 degrees.

Yoga for Hips and Back Pain

A class focused specifically on hip-opening stretches. Flexibility in the hips and hamstrings increase mobility and reduce pain in the back. Whatever the reason for your tightness or pain, this class will compliment your exercise or physical therapy regiment. This class is for all levels of students - options will be given in each pose for maximum benefit. Class includes a short warm up.

Lightly heated to 75 degrees to promote stretching.

Power Restore - NEW!

This blended class pairs vinyasa flow with equal parts restorative yoga to fully balance mind and body. Build strength and increase stability for your power practice. Take active rest and to restore your muscles through the use of props and breath control. This class is for all levels and is unheated.

This class begins on September 7 at 6:45 p.m.
