Our curriculum is rooted in the style we've built over a decade of teaching this community: alignment-based power yoga grounded in functional movement, taught by people who actually know you and care about your growth.
Our training creates teachers who graduate feeling confident, connected, and equipped with skills that extend far beyond the mat. When you train with us, you're not just earning a certification. You're joining a community that will keep showing up for you, long after graduation.

You're not here to become a generic teacher. You're here to find your voice, your approach, and your people, and get the technical skills and knowledge to back it up.
In a small cohort capped at 10 students, you'll get the kind of personalized attention that's nearly impossible to find elsewhere. You'll practice teaching in real time classes, with real feedback, in a space that feels more like a mentorship than a program.
Unlike other programs, we won't just help you "deepen your practice." We will also give you the knowledge and tools to effectively communicate what you learn to your future students.
"The small class size allowed for an intimate, rich, connected experience. I left training feeling confidently equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to immediately begin my yoga teaching journey!"
- Jess M., 2025 Graduate
Our training method is unique to Create Power Yoga. It's shaped by over a decade of teaching in this community, by the questions our students ask, and by what we've learned about what actually prepares someone to teach with confidence.
Our 200-hour program prepares you to become the kind of teacher people trust - someone who can hold space, adapt to a variety of needs, and teach with confidence from day one. Most trainings don't ever place you in a classroom. At CPY, you'll be teaching from the very first weekend, developing key skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Our curriculum includes:

"Create Power Yoga’s teacher training program gave me the confidence to teach live classes from the start. The hands-on experience and supportive environment were unparalleled."
- Jackie N., 2023 Graduate
"This training changed my life. I left feeling fully prepared to teach with a strong understanding of yoga, anatomy, and how to adapt to different students’ needs."
- Eunice D., 2022 Graduate

Will you actually be ready to teach when you finish? We designed our training with that question in mind.
You'll practice teaching from day one. Not just at the end for an assessment, but from the very first weekend. You'll lead portions of classes, get real-time feedback, and build the skills to hold space for a full room.
You'll find your voice. We'll help you develop clear, authentic communication that feels natural to you, not like you're performing or pretending.
You'll be seen and supported. Our training is capped at 10 students. You won't get lost in a crowd. You'll get personalized attention and guidance every step of the way.
You'll leave with real experience. By graduation, you'll have practiced sequencing, cueing, assisting, and holding space in a studio for real students.
You'll join a community that lasts. Our graduates stay connected, sharing ideas, opportunities, and encouragement long after training ends.
And if teaching isn't your path? You'll still carry the confidence, presence, and deepened understanding into every area of your life.
