Storytime Yoga (walkers through age 5)

These classes, geared to walkers through kindergarten, are a combination of movement, rest and reading! We invite adults and kids to this class to explore movement together. Yoga poses and movements drawn from occupational therapy and child development games are all used in this class. We learn yogic principles like non-harming and non-judgement play, silliness, and the stories we read together.

Storytime Yoga is our favorite program for parent-child programs, as well as preschools and daycare. These programs are 30-45 minutes long.

Sessions are tailored to age of your group and the number of kids participating.

Elementary Yoga Classes (ages 5-12)

Classes focus on building self-confidence, physical strength and concentration. Body awareness and agency are explored through short and playful flows, partner poses, and storytelling. Poses are held for small amounts of time with a basic introduction to alignment. These class also emphasize the the practice of being still, contralateral (side-to-side) movement, and using breath. Children are encouraged to freely express their individuality while learning the basic yoga principles of respect for others and themselves.

Our kid’s classes are tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children to ensure they are always learning and growing.

Sessions are tailored to the age range of your group of children.

Tweens and Teens

Classes focus on building self-confidence, physical strength and concentration. Our teen and tween programs begin to focus more on body-awareness through alignment and purposeful movement. Bodily agency and choice are explored as we introduce movement and variations of yoga poses. We encourage our tween and teen yogis to also explore stillness and being quiet with themselves, as well as introducing them to yogic philosophies like loving-kindness, compassion for self and others, diligent work, and contentment.

Our kid’s classes are tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children to ensure they are always learning and growing.

Sessions are tailored to the age range of your group of children.

Birthday Parties (on or off site)

Our Kid’s Yoga Parties include two hours of time with our studio all to yourself!

The party rate includes a 1-hour kids yoga class filled with age appropriate poses, props and games lead by one of our amazing certified kid's yoga instructors! Families are welcome to bring in food, cake, beverages, balloons, decorations, etc. Please let us know if you have a theme in mind and we will help to theme the class appropriately.

Pricing (on-site): • $300 for up to 10 children for 2 hours • $5 each additional child • Additional time in the studio is $40 per half hour

Can I bring my child to an adult yoga class?

We strive to make all of our students feel safe, comfortable, and focused in all of our classes. We set our policies to ensure that each yoga students attends classes that are safe for the developmental stage of their body and brain. We are an adult-focused space and prioritize that in our policies and expectations of students.

Ages 16-17: We allow minors ages 16-17 in any of our classes, with permission (signed waiver) from their parent or guardian.

Ages 14-15: We allow minors ages 14-15 in any of our unheated classes, with a parent or guardian in attendance with them.

Age 13 and under: We do not allow children under the age of 13 in our adult classes.

Before a child participates, a parent or guardian needs to sign a liability waiver. If your child doesn't show the maturity needed to fully engage in class after their first session, they might be asked not to come back. This decision will be made by the teacher in discussion with the studio owner.
