What matters in yoga…

It’s okay if you don’t do headstands, or splits, or wheel, or touch your toes. Gymnastics and acrobatics do not weigh on most of our lives.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, how much you weigh.  Your physical body has no bearing on the thoughts you choose.

It doesn’t matter what clothes you wear. $100 yoga pants won’t make you a more patient, kind, or loving person.

What matters is that you show up to class. Set time aside for yourself, for your own silence and space.

What matters is that you breathe. That you take some time to pause, to be aware of our present moment, to stay calm.

What matters is being where you are right now. Learning to have patience with your journey.

These are what is relevant. This is yoga.

  1. I really need to be free from my emotional life style, such as sadness, slavery at work, to feel more confident.

I need joy, peace and more energy to move on…..
